impending Thanksgiving break

It's like a coin toss.
The way I hear it, there will be very few people on campus during Thanksgiving break. One of those people, of course, will be yours truly. I can't take the Amtrak home or have my parents drive down to pick me up due to time constraints. I can't hitch a ride home because my parents are quite adamant about me not riding in another teenager's car (plus I can't exactly lie about it very convincingly >.> ).
So I checked the list of eatery places open during the break, and it seems like I need to stock up on microwaveable food and prepare to hunker down, because on 3 or 4 of the break days, all on-campus places are closed f
